Calm and Organized

We pride ourselves on keepin’ it cool when things get a little rocky. Why? Preparation is everything. We also know weddings include a medley of incredible talent that really can solve anything. You know what they say, no use crying over spilt milk. Unless you’re a new mom…that’s soul crushing.

Personal

You know your story best and it’s the quirks, the details, the “did that really happen?” moments that make the greatest stories. Your wedding should bring to light those wonderfully wacky elements that feel true to you. We believe it’s all possible with a little (okay, fine, a medium) bit of effort. If the perfect item doesn’t exist, let’s make it.

Above all else, weddings should be filled with joy. Whether this means playing music you find semi-embarrassing though impossible not to dance to or bringing in your family dog wearing a tie, our goal is to ensure everyone leaves with a full heart.

We love color; bright color, dusty pastels, neon lights, contrasting colors, and neutrals on neutrals with a dash of highlighter pink.


For every wedding we plan we try to find a little something unexpected that makes a big impact: record player guest book? Hand-painted cookies as wedding favors? Dubstep entrance song? Let’s. Do. It.

Film photography makes our heart pitter-patter, matchboxes are one of the greatest goodies you can bestow upon guests, and well-designed florals are always worth the cost.

We value design and believe one of our biggest roles in the planning process is taking your desires and putting them to paper in ways even more magical than ever imagined. We dig the unconventional, love taking chances, and feel equally settled amongst the towering red wood trees of Northern California as we do beneath the gorgeous columns of San Francisco City Hall.

  • Home

    A true INFJ, aka the “Extroverted Introvert”, I project some wild vibes sometimes but I am a homebody at my core. My soul sings around my two children, Wakely and Wilder, and nothing makes me happier than watching them fall into a giggle fit. I believe that family and our careers are not mutually exclusive so don’t be surprised if you see a kiddo pop into the Zoom Room spread a little light.

  • Nature, baby

    I love the outdoors with an open mindedness that has taken me to some pretty phenomenal (and wacky) spots. My husband, Lucas, and I cruised through the Western half of the United States in a converted Sprinter van twice. First for four months back in 2017 and then again in 2021 with our daughter. If you ever want recs for a NorCal road trip itinerary, I got you.

  • Terrible Television and YA novels

    I’m a recent Alone convert and have a deep deep appreciation for the Amazing Race. New Girl, Schitt’s Creek, and Veep have all made me cry with laughter. I’ve read the Divergent series a total of three times, love Lauren Oliver books with a passion reserved for lovesick teenagers and would without a doubt call myself a Twihard (movies included).

  • Happy hues

    I once posted a photo on Instagram that showed me wearing a black jumpsuit. I received 12 messages from friends asking what was wrong… While I have exactly two all black ensembles reserved for weddings, you will almost NEVER find me in anything other than color.

By sheer fate, happenstance, or luck would have it, the first job I ever held was at an event planning company down in San Diego in 2010. The wedding world always FASCINATED me but it wasn’t until 2016, when I married my best friend that I realized wedding planning was something I needed to explore professionally. I have had two occupational passions in my life: wedding planning and working with children. I spent eight fabulous years as a second grade teacher and ran my two passions side by side in some capacity for the last six years. I’ve since had the pleasure of working with dozens of couples in various planning capacities and I truly believe I have the greatest job in the world.
